Sometimes one honest word can hold a whole week

Busy. Calm. Messy. Happy. Focused. Elutee's Week States let you name the overall rhythm of a week in language that feels natural to you. Choose an existing state or create one of your own.

The label stays beside the notes, photos, and voice memories you captured. Later, you can see not only what happened, but the emotional context in which it happened.

Week States are a current Elutee feature — not a future promise.

Your mood journal app

Keep the context, then let time reveal the pattern

Elutee keeps reflection grounded in real moments, so a label never has to tell the whole story by itself.

    Capture

Save what happened while the details are still close

Add a note, photo, or voice memory when something feels worth keeping. A difficult meeting, an unexpectedly peaceful walk, or a conversation that changed the day can all become useful context later.

  2. 02

    Name

Give the week a state that feels true enough

Choose calm, busy, messy, happy, focused, or make a label of your own. It does not need to be perfect. A Week State is a gentle summary, and your saved moments keep the nuance.

Mixed weeks are still allowed to be mixed.
  3. 03

    Notice

Look across weeks and get curious about what repeats

As your journal grows, Week States and statistics can make recurring rhythms easier to see. You might notice which seasons feel full, which routines appear in calmer weeks, or which kinds of moments you want more of.

Patterns are invitations to reflect, not scores, diagnoses, or judgments about how you should feel.

Coming next Moods

A closer look at how individual moments felt

Week States describe the whole week. Our planned Moods feature will add a more detailed emotional layer to individual moments, so your emotional journal app can preserve not only what happened, but how it felt at the time.

Elutee will be able to suggest moods based on what you choose to save. You will remain in control of what is attached to your memories.

Not yet available. This is a preview of a planned feature, and its final form may evolve.

Patterns, not verdicts

What a longer view may help you notice

A mood tracker journal is most useful when it opens gentle questions instead of forcing simple answers.

Your pace and energy

See which weeks felt spacious, intense, scattered, or steady in your own words.

Moments around a feeling

Keep the people, places, and events nearby so an emotion never appears without context.

What tends to support you

Notice routines and small experiences that often show up in weeks you remember fondly.

A more balanced memory

Revisit the difficult and reassuring parts of a week without asking either one to disappear.

A caring boundary

Reflection can support you. It cannot replace care.

Elutee is a personal journaling and memory-keeping app. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, crisis service, or substitute for therapy or professional mental health care. If your feelings are overwhelming, persistent, or make you feel unsafe, please reach out to a qualified professional or local emergency support.

Questions, answered

About mood tracking with Elutee

Soft structure, honest expectations, and room for real life.

What is a mood tracker journal?

It is a journal that keeps emotional context alongside what happened. In Elutee, you can capture notes, photos, and voice memories, then use Week States to name the overall rhythm of each week.

What are Week States?

Week States are available now. They let you label a whole week with a state that makes sense to you — calm, busy, messy, happy, focused, or a custom state of your own.

Are Moods available now?

Not yet. Moods are a planned feature intended to add more detailed emotional context to individual moments. We show it as “Coming next” so the difference between current and future functionality stays clear.

Do I need to track my mood every day?

No. Elutee has no required daily streak. Add moments when they matter and name your week when you are ready. Missing a day does not break anything.

Is Elutee a medical or therapy tool?

No. Elutee supports personal reflection and memory keeping. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a replacement for therapy, medical advice, or crisis support.

Is my emotional journal private?

Your moments are private by default. Elutee uses modern security practices, including encryption and strict access controls. You control what you save or delete.

Can I start for free?

Yes. You can start using Elutee for free on iPhone, iPad, or Android.
